In our never-ending quest to maintain a comprehensive listing of winery blogs, we've just added pinotblogger,
A blog about starting and building a family winery in the Russian River Valley.
(thanks to Tom at Fermentation for the pointer).
As of this moment, they haven't even named the winery. I imagine they'll keep the pinotblogger.com domain (which is a nice one, although specific to blogging), add AsYetUnamedWinery.com, and somehow link them up.
As we mention in The Winery Web Site Report, it's best to pick a domain name that someone is likely to guess from the name of your winery, e.g. you might reasonably expect Smith Estate Wines to have a domain name like SmithEstateWines.com (as well as SmithWines.com and SmithEstate.com - at $8.95 a year, it's a cheap way of making sure your winery web site is find-able).
